    This is a senior role in a local company and you will report directly to the General Manager. The key focus of the role is building relationships with customers and facilitating sales of new buildings, then managing the construction through to completion. To do this you will be a strong ambassador for the brand and work hard to strengthen brand loyalty and awareness as well as increasing market share in the Bay of Plenty. While highly desirable, no previous industry experience in the construction sector is necessary - but a proven sales record is invaluable. Age and gender are not an issue for us, we want the right person - superstars!

     

    The role is normally commission only, the last Technical Sales & Operations Manager made an income of over $120,000 per financial year with the potential to make more for someone willing to put in the hard work. (while our preference is for commission only staff, we might consider a small retainer and smaller commission % for a superstar with the right personality.)

With the current Manager stepping down from the role as he has too much on his plate, this is a unique opportunity in the industry as the role already has an established sales pipeline which provides an almost immediate income to the right person.

    • With extensive experience of growing sales within your field, you will use your prospecting skills to build and maintain a pipeline of well-qualified sales opportunities

    • Your consultative approach and the ability to work collaboratively ensures team support and a genuine understanding of customer needs

    • You are analytical and have attention to detail when preparing and delivering effective and efficient solutions within customer constraints

    • Your presentation is always professional

    • You take responsibility for the outcome of your sales processes and are always open to learning and developing in your role

    • You take great pride in delivering on your word and seeing the project through to completion

    • You are passionate about systems and procedures development and use

    Role Particulars

    • COMPANY: Skyline Tauranga (www.skylinebuildings.co.nz)
    • LOCATION: 4 Te Puna Road, Te Puna, TAURANGA
    • TITLE: Technical Sales and Operations Manager
    • EXPECTED POTENTIAL INCOME: $70,000 - $140,000 (proof of potential available)
    • REMUNERATION: Commission Only – 5% of sale price, before GST (plus sales targets incentives) or  Retainer + Commission - $30,000 per year + 2% of sale price, before GST (plus sales targets incentives)
    • EXPECTED MINIMUM SHOWBUILDING WORKING HOURS: Tuesday – Saturday 9am till 5pm (working outside these times will also be required to follow up leads and close deals - this is the minimum expectation only)
    • SUPPORT: Pricing Program, Full Sales Brochures, Comprehensive Website, Site Signs, Company Cell Phone, in-house Qualified Designers and Project Managers and the latest 3D BIM Software mean you’ve everything you need to succeed in this role
